Mike joined HMI as the Dean of Students in 2022. He grew up in Michigan where the suburbs of Detroit meet the forests and pastures. After moving to Colorado in 2014, Mike worked as an instructor for various outdoor education programs. Mike spent six years as a director of summer camp, school-year, and gap semester programs at the Colorado Outdoor Education Center, also known as Sanborn. Mike is in his element when exploring new places to ski, bike or climb, and would love to talk with students about what music they’re into.
