Jessi joined the HMI team full-time after participating in Semester 34 as a student and Semester 46 as an apprentice. They are originally from Los Angeles, CA. Before coming to HMI, Jessi earned a degree in math and environmental studies from Bowdoin College, led for Overland Summers in New England and the Pacific Northwest, and completed an Americorps Service term with Teton Science Schools. When they aren’t doing math (or math puzzles), you can find Jessi making pancakes, watching & studying films, or skiing.
