Ally (she/her) grew up in Chicago, but spent her teenage years surrounded by the rolling hills of the Pioneer Valley in Massachusetts. She graduated form Haverford College in Pennsylvania, where she studied Environmental and Urban Studies. She was most recently a naturalist at San Mateo Outdoor Education in California. She first fell in love with HMI as a gap student in Fall 2017 and then returned as an intern in Summer 2021. She is so excited to return this summer! In her free time, you’ll find her either hiking, skiing, or having a hacky sack session with friends.
