Syd (she/her) grew up in Olympia, Washington and has spent the last seven years living in the grand ol’ Missoula, Montana! She attended the University of Montana, where she studied Relational Communication and Climate Change, as well as spending much of her time climbing all the big rocks around and zooming through the trees on her bike. Syd loves to eat bubblegum ice cream, read books by the river, embark on bikepacking adventures, and cook dinner with friends. She is thrilled to be writing, romping and learning alongside the students at HMI this summer.
