Originally from a half-asleep rural town called Kelseyville, California, Andre has lived everywhere from New York City to alone in the high sierra desert with nothing but 100 cows to keep him company. He currently studies history at Columbia University, but previously attended Deep Springs College, a small college on the border of Nevada that is also a working cattle ranch. Outside of school and delivering baby-calves, he plays jazz and classical piano, runs for Columbia’s cross country team, and loves hour long chats.
