As an alumni of HMI Gap, Katie is thrilled to return to Leadville this summer as a Summer Programs Intern. Her roots lie in State College, Pennsylvania and recently she has been embracing her identity as a part-time Vermonter as an environmental justice and education student at Middlebury College. When not exploring her local Appalachian Mountains, she can be found fiddling with friends, browsing local farmer’s markets, and plunging in swim holes throughout the seasons.
