Originally from New Jersey, Raffi attended HMI as a Semester 40 student. He graduated from Middlebury College in 2023, majoring in Geology and Architecture, then rejoined the HMI family as a Semester 52 apprentice. Raffi’s favorite way to recreate outdoors is bike-packing, and he loves how teaching science at HMI means exploring Leadville’s rich natural history and sharing it with his students.
