Dave joined the HMI team in 2011 as an apprentice, and is originally from Woods Hole, Massachusetts. Before coming to HMI, Dave majored in Environmental Studies and Spanish at Middlebury College, where he strived to find a balance between academic and recreational pursuits, spending many weekends climbing and skiing in the Adirondacks. After graduating in 2011, Dave moved around the West, working for a variety of schools, including NOLS and HMI. When he’s not working, Dave is most likely climbing, skiing, riding his mountain bike, or refining his sourdough recipe.
