Agnes was a gap student on HMI’s Trek Semester in the Fall of 2021, and she is thrilled to be back in Leadville for the summer. Agnes grew up in NYC but spends lots of time hiking in the Catskill Mountains of New York, where she has led youth backpacking trips for a few recent summers. She will graduate from Middlebury College in February, where she studies German, Linguistics, and Math. Outside of class, Agnes competes on the ultimate frisbee team, DJ’s a college radio show, and soaks up the Vermont scenery—camping, hiking, skiing, you name it.
