Logan grew up in Kentucky, where he first fell in love with the outdoors through climbing in the Red River Gorge. He enjoys climbing, skiing, fly fishing and is an aspiring banjo player. Logan’s draw to outdoor leadership led him first to Tennessee where he worked for the Southeast Conservation Corps, before moving on to Colorado where he worked for the Colorado Outward Bound School and became Director of High Trails Outdoor Education Center. His love of education eventually took him into the classroom in South Korea before teaching history in Seattle. Logan is very excited to return to his favorite stomping grounds in Leadville and join the HMI community as the new History Faculty.
