Originally from New England, Daria studied Chinese and English Literature at Middlebury College, where she also spent summers at the Bread Loaf School of English. Daria spent the early years of her teaching career in independent schools in Massachusetts and New Hampshire before living in California facilitating outdoor education trips across the state. Outside, she enjoys mountain and road biking, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and swimming in any accessible body of water at all times of year. Daria also loves reading, letterpress printmaking, and is always excited by a new board or card game.
