Calling all HMI alumni, parents, former staff, and friends of the school! HMI will be staffing TWO aid stations this month for the Leadville Trail 100 Bike AND 100 Run and we need your help. We are seeking volunteers to help oversee the operations of both aid station including preparing food, organizing drop bags, staffing a warming tent, and doing other essential tasks. The Leadville 100 Bike race will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026; the 100 Run will be on Saturday, August 22, 2026.

Coming off the success of last year’s HMI aid station at the LT100 run, we have signed up to staff aid stations at both 100s this year: the Bike and the Run.
For the LT100 Bike (8/15), we are seeking volunteers for the following timeslots:
- 7am – 10am
- 10am – 1pm
- 1pm – 4:30pm
For the LT100 Run (8/22), we are seeking volunteers for the following timeslots:
- 6AM – Noon
- Noon – 3PM
- 3PM – 8PM
- 8PM – 4AM
Volunteers are invited to crash in an HMI cabin (or pitch a tent on campus) before or after either race! Friends / family / partners / pets are welcome. We hope to see you then!
