Students arrive in Denver by 2 pm, depart for Leadville

- Please book inbound flights that arrive at Denver International Airport between 10 am and 2 pm MT.
- If you are dropping your student off on campus on January 20, it must be between 1 pm and 5 pm MT.
Orientation and expedition preparation

First Expedition: Canyons of Southeastern Utah
Sunday, January 24 – Friday, February 5
Classes begin on campus
Monday, February 8
Ski Expedition: Sawatch and Mosquito Ranges, Colorado

Classes resume on campus

Family Weekend
Friday, April 2 – Saturday, April 3
- Details for Family Weekend will be shared in February. You can tentatively plan for programming to begin Friday evening at 5 pm MT.
- Students can stay with their families off-campus Friday and Saturday evenings, with all students departing campus for Spring Break the evening of Saturday, April 3.
Spring Break (all students depart)
Sunday, April 4 – Sunday, April 11
- Students are expected to travel home for Spring Break with their families following Family Weekend. If a family member is not able to attend Family Weekend, please reach out to the Semester Director for instruction on how to proceed.
- Incoming flights to Denver International Airport on Sunday, April 11, should be booked to arrive between 10 am – 2 pm MT
- HMI will provide transportation from the airport to HMI for any student flying back from Spring Break.
- If you are dropping your student off on campus on April 11, it must be no earlier than 1 pm and before 5 pm MT.
